New Attitudes Dance Studios offers local scholarships each year for students. Along with individual dance scholarships for classes at the studio each year, we also offer an annual scholarship through the New Attitudes Foundation.
Our Hope for the Future scholarship is awarded each spring to a graduating senior within Marquette area public schools. For the first time since its inception over 10 years ago, the Hope for the Future scholarship will begin floating to surrounding schools, such as Negaunee, Ishpeming, Westwood, and Gwinn in 2024.
The Hope for the Future scholarship was set up in consideration of Hope Pool who encompasses the guidelines below and is continued in her memory.
Eligibility requirements:
- Student that stands out as an “Individual”
- Exhibits strong morals and goals, both present and future oriented
- Recognizable awareness for others and what’s going on around them
- Shows interest in charitable causes or fundraising needs in a community
The studio is always excited about our scholarship program, both in house and through the Foundation. It’s important to us to find ways to give back within the studio and in our community. Through our scholarship program, New Attitudes is able to offer opportunities to students not only in dance, but in education as well.
